The '''Teac FD-55A''' is the first drive in the [[Teac FD-55 series]]. A single-sided drive, it can only read 160/180kB single-sided DOS disks. The drive in the photo has a factory modification to allow a 20-pin connector to supply both power and direct-drive motor phase signals.
