:Looks like a good effort, but I have different experiences with DN3D/3dfx/1024x768/LCD. Works great without any color problems. Also, since when did this game offer 1280x1024? [[User:D1stortion|D1stortion]] ([[User talk:D1stortion|talk]]) 06:43, 23 February 2013 (EST)

It's funny that we mention Trio3D as a "typically AGP product", while the picture is a PCI version. It's worth adding the card should be better avoided. The article here has a lot of data on the subject: http://www.vintage3d.org/trio3d.php

There are native S3D games for Windows (eg. Mechwarrior II - all Mechwarrior II 3D ports are for Windows) so I added that. I'm pretty sure that S3D will only work under 9x, most ViRGE cards will not even have 3D acceleration at all in 2000/XP. Does anyone know if the Savage drivers for 2000/XP include MeTaL support? Or is that 9x only?

What about the DOS compatibility of the Savage line? D1stortion (talk) 04:56, 23 February 2013 (EST)
