The Sound Blaster 32 PnP is an update to the Sound Blaster 16 with the WavEffects (EMU8000) chip from the AWE32. It is one of the few Creative Labs cards that can take standard 30-pin SIMMs to increase the memory available for MIDI instrument samples.

It is very similar to the Creative Sound Blaster AWE32 PnP (IDE), but with a CT1749 instead of the CT8903 (AWE32) chip. It also has a SPDIF output connector, which the AWE32 does not.
